VE Commercial Vehicles sells 6543 units in August 2024

VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) recorded sales of 6543 units in August 2024 as compared to 6476 units in August 2023, a growth of 1.0%. This includes 6283 units of Eicher brand and 260 units of Volvo brand.

Following are details for August 2024:

• Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 6283 units in August 2024 as compared to 6239 units in August 2023 representing a growth of 0.7%.
• In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 6028 units in August 2024 as compared to 5907 units in August 2023, representing a growth of 2.0%.
• On the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks & buses recorded sales of 255 units in August 2024 as compared to 332 units in August 2023, representing a decline of 23.2%.
• Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses recorded sales of 260 units in July 2024 as compared to 237 units in August 2023, representing a growth of 9.7%.
