VE Commercial Vehicles sells 4248 units in September 2015, recording a robust growth of 27.7%

VE Commercial vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) has sold 4248 units in September 2015 (YTD 34805) as compared to 3326 units in September 2014 (LYTD 31291) recording a growth of 27.7% (YTD Growth of 11.2%). This includes 4047 units of Eicher brand and 201 units of Volvo brand

The following are the key highlights for September 2015

• Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded total sales of 4047 units in September 2015(YTD 33936) as compared to 3176 units in September 2014(LYTD 30664), representing a growth of 27.4% (YTD Growth of 10.7%).
• In the domestic CV market ( 5T and Above), Eicher Trucks and Buses have recorded sales of 3452 units in September 2015 (YTD 29931) as compared to 2781 units (LYTD 26328) in September 2014, representing a growth of 24.1% (YTD Growth of 13.7%)
• On the Exports front Eicher Trucks and Buses have recorded sales of 595 units in September 2015 (YTD 4005) as compared to 395 units in September 2014 (LYTD 4336) representing a growth of 50.6%.
• Volvo trucks have recorded sales of 201 units in September 2015(YTD 869) as compared to 150 units (LYTD 627) in September 2014, representing a growth of 34% (YTD growth of 39%).
