VE Commercial Vehicles sells 4035 units in May 2015

VE Commercial vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) has sold 4035 units in May 2015 (YTD 18985) as compared to 3750 units in May 2014(LYTD 17234) recording a growth of 7.6% (YTD Growth of 10.2%). This includes 3962 units of Eicher brand and 73 units of Volvo brand.

The following are the key highlights for May 2015

• Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded total sales of 3962 units in May 2015(YTD 18563) as compared to 3685 units in May 2014(LYTD 16933), representing a growth of 7.5%.(YTD Growth of 9.6%)
  • In the domestic CV market ( 5T and Above), Eicher Trucks and Buses have recorded sales of 3617 units in May 2015 (YTD 16883) as compared to 3064 units(LYTD 14547) in May 2014, representing a growth of 18% (YTD Growth of 16.1%)
  • On the Exports front Eicher Trucks and Buses have recorded sales of 345 units in May 2015(YTD 1680) as compared to 621 units in May 2014(LYTD 2386).
• Volvo trucks have recorded sales of 73 units in May 2015(YTD 422) as compared to 65 units (LYTD 301) in May 2014, a growth of 12.3% (YTD Growth of 40.2%)
