VE Commercial Vehicles sells 3985 units in October 2015, recording a solid growth of 29.2%

VE Commercial vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) has sold 3985 units in October 2015 (YTD 38790) as compared to 3084 units in October 2014 (LYTD 34375) recording a growth of 29.2% (YTD Growth of 12.8%). This includes 3854 units of Eicher brand and 131 units of Volvo brand.

The following are the key highlights for October 2015

• Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded total sales of 3854 units in October 2015 (YTD 37790) as compared to 3052 units in October 2014(LYTD 33716), representing a growth of 26.3% (YTD Growth of 12.1%).
• In the domestic CV market ( 5T and Above), Eicher Trucks and Buses have recorded sales of 3466 units in October 2015 (YTD 33397) as compared to 2494 units (LYTD 28822) in October 2014, representing a growth of 39% (YTD Growth of 15.9%)
• On the Exports front Eicher Trucks and Buses have recorded sales of 388 units in October 2015 (YTD 4393) as compared to 558 units in October 2014 (LYTD 4894).
• Volvo trucks have recorded sales of 131 units in October 2015(YTD 1000) as compared to 32 units (LYTD 659) in October 2014, representing a growth of 309% (YTD growth of 52%).
