VE Commercial Vehicles sells 3921 units in June 2017

VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) has sold 3921 units in June 2017 as compared to 4935 units in June 2016 recording an overall decline of 20.5%. The June 2017 sales figure includes 3885 units of Eicher brand and 36 units of Volvo brand.

Following are the key highlights for June 2017

• Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded total sales of 3885 units in June 2017 (YTD 11501 units) as compared to 4878 units in June 2016 (LYTD 15914 units) representing a decline of 20.4%.
• In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 3382 units (YTD 9913) in June 2017 as compared to 4256 units in June 2016 (LYTD 13602 units) representing a decline of 20.5%
• On the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks & buses recorded a total sale of 503 units in June 2017 (YTD 1588 units) as compared to 622 units in June 2016 (LYTD 2312 units) representing a decline of 19.1%
• Volvo Trucks has recorded sales of 36 units in June 2017 (YTD 82 units) as compared to 57 units in June 2016 (LYTD 157 units) representing a decline of 36.8%
