Eicher Trucks and Buses register strong growth of 26% in June

Eicher Trucks and Buses have recorded a strong performance in June 2011 with a sales of 3723 units .

The following are the key highlights for June 2011

• The sale of 3723 units in June 2011 is 26% higher than the sales of Eicher Trucks and Buses in June 2010.
• Eicher Trucks and Buses have recorded a growth of 32% in the domestic CV market (5T & above) in June 2011 when compared to June 2010. In 5-12t light & medium duty truck segment it has recorded 21% growth, while in Buses it has registered 41% growth in numbers over June 2010.
• Continuing its strong inroad on a greater customer acceptance, the ‘VE Series’ of fuel-efficient heavy-duty (HD) Eicher trucks have recorded a growth of 79% over June 2010 in the domestic market.
• Eicher Trucks and Buses have also recorded a sale of 107 units in export market against 220 units in June 2010. However the export order book reamins strong.
