Eicher sells 3150 units in July 2013

Aug 1, 2013: The following are the key highlights for July 2013

Eicher branded trucks and buses recorded sales of 3150 units in July 2013 as compared to 3602 units in July 2012, representing a drop of 12.5%. The YTD 2013 year sales stand at 26444 units as compared to LYTD 2012 sales of 29661 units, representing a drop of 10.8%.

In the domestic CV Market ( 5T and Above), Eicher trucks and buses recorded sales of 2915 units as compared to 3942 units in July 2012, representing a drop of 16.5%. YTD 2013 domestic sales for Eicher trucks and buses stand at 25195 units as compared to YTD 2012 sales of 28177 units, representing a drop of 10.6%

• In the 5-14T LMD truck segment, Eicher recorded sales of 1790 units as compared to 2001 units in July 2012, representing a drop of 10.5%. YTD July 2013 sales stand at 15155 units as compared to LYTD 2012 sales of 17663 units, representing a drop of 14.2%
• In the domestic Bus segment, July 2013 sales stand at 656 units as compared to 929 units in July 2012, representing a 29.4 % decline. The YTD 2013 sales stand at 6173 units as compared to LYTD 2012 sales of 5755 units, representing a 7.3% growth.
• In the Heavy Duty truck segment (16T and above), the sales stand at 469 units as compared to 562 units in July 2012, representing a 16.5% drop. YTD Eicher HD sales stand at 3867 units as compared to 4759 units YTD 2012, representing a drop of 18.7%.
